The Month of May....busy

May has been a whirl wind. We had
Matthews First grade play,
The 5k Walk
and Mothers Day.

We also had Elizabeths Dance and Matthews
Violin Recitals all in the same day. We have had
wonderful weather and we have tried to make
the most of that. Mimi and Pappy have opened
the pool so the next post will probably be summer
fun pics. The picture below is part of Elizabeth's
flowers she got on dance recital night they were
beautiful, but not as beautiful as her! She is really
growing up fast. Hope all are feeling
well and enjoying equally nice weather.

Matthew really did well with
his violin this year and has greatly
improved. We look forward to another
year playing.

We did a 5K run for Elizabeths
4th grade teachers little one
year old girl. She has been
diagnosed with cancer and is
battling it like a little trooper. The communtiy has really come
out to support and do great things to help.

Tweetsie is open for the Season!!

We headed up to Tweetsie for the First Weekend
of the Season. The weather was a little rainy, but
just enough to keep some away and make it perfect
for us. No crowds and no sweating! We had a great
day and look forward to heading back in a few weeks
to see Thomas when he is there for a couple weeks.
By then school will be out and Summer will be under
way. Yeah Summer!!!!!!!

Nothing
like
a
little
mining
to wait
out a
little
rain
shower.
GOLD?

First Holy Communion

Grace had a beautiful First Communion. We enjoyed
sharing the special day with her and family!

Grace was really excited that the cake had what
she thought was a big "T" for Tully before she
could see the whole cake. It really was a
beautiful cake and delicious too. The weather
was perfect and the food and company were equally
nice.

Strawberry Festival

Well, just an update on life. We are all well and the kids are getting really excited about school ending in about five weeks. They both have music recitals and Elizabeth has her dance recital and just about something on every weekend now until the very end. I don't know where the time has gone, but I know the heat has already arrived so summer can't be far behind. We have already had our first load of fresh strawberries, and we mostly ate them right out of the bucket. Elizabeth also got some Lemons at the Strawberry Festival and came home and made fresh lemonade. It was delicious and we have since had fresh squeezed OJ and more lemonade.
Its a little pricier, but she sure does enjoy doing it. I also made a Strawberry cake for a friend who has not been well. Hope it didn't make her feel worse, haha!
I hope all of you are well and Happy Birthday late to Uncle Terry and early Happy Birthday to Grandma Haimbaugh! Aunt Darlene your next!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY 14 YEARS!

David and I celebrated 14 years today, we didn't
have much time together, but before the sun went
down we made it for a walk and got Matthew to
snap this pic. Life is Good even if it is rushed
and busy.

Spring Break!

We stayed busy during Spring Break. Mrs. Shari
visited and we enjoyed a hike at the Greenway, a
trip to the York County Museum, and Carowinds!
We were fortunate to also have beautiful weather
most of the week.

Lots of thinking
going on in this
picture, Huh?

Happy Easter and Happy Spring!

We all dressed our best for Easter Sunday!

We made some birds nest cupcakes Easter morning
to enjoy after our lunch!

Yeah! Easter Bunny!

Everyone had a good time at the Easter Egg Hunt!

We also tried making brownie pops in the shape of bunnies,
and chicks(above). I saw this on another blog and thought
they would be fun to do, and they were, but ours didn't look
quite as nice as hers did. Oh well they tasted good!

We started the holiday weekend dying our Easter eggs.
The kids of course enjoyed this and were patient enough
to get some really nice colors.
