Wow how long has it been?

I know it has been a while so I have a few pictures from July until now, and I hope to do better, but now with work and all the kids activities life has gone into hyper drive. Love and miss all who look at this and hope your all well:)

POOL TIME!

Of course one more trip to Tweetsie before school started, especially since our 4th of July got rained out!

Elizabeths Birthday, can you believe she is 12?!!!

My birthday, can you believe I am........?lol

These two are finally getting along well enough to even nap together:)

First day of 4th grade! He put shoes on before he left:)

First day of 7th grade!

This is the train that runs nearby and Matthew took this photo!

We went up to Tweetsie for railfain weekend; me, David and Matthew. It was really fun, for all of us!!!

David and Matthew headed up to the Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC for of course a train ride and seeing lots of train stuff!

Abby is almost one now and is what we think will be full grown for her, she is a nice 15 pounds and really is a great dog for our family:) We love her!!

Matthew and Davids latest work, teepees! We had to trim our Crepe Myrtles a little early this year as we will have roofers coming by the end of the month to do the roof from our summertime hail storms. We wanted to do the triming rather than them so after the work was done, of course the boys found something to do with what they had left:) Joe and Grace came down that day too and Joe lent a hand and they all enjoyed a nice afternoon outdoors in the Fall weather.

Mrs. Shari's Visit:)

We were so excited that Shari came for a four day visit while
she had a break from School. We have really enjoyed our visits
this year from family and friends and hope that they have as well.
We started her visit with a Mexican night and then the next night she and
the kids wanted to do a campfire with hotdogs and smores for dessert. We
did the Schiele Museum and went thru the cave exhibit and went to see
Pirates of the Carribean. For the 4th we headed to Tweetsie and the
first part of the day was beautiful. We couldn't get Shari on the Ferris
Wheel, but we enjoyed the other rides until the rain came, and stayed.....
Elizabeth and I were lucky enough to get hair make overs while
she was here, and hope she will come back for touch ups:) We were sad
to see her leave, but look forward to another visit hopefully after she
graduates from nursing school so we can celebrate her accomplishment!!!

Hotdogs and Smores!

Hair day!

Matthew got a head start with a few sparklers before the 4th!

Mrs. Shari also helped Liz do her nails for the 4th! Thanks again
for the early B-day gift!

Mrs. Shari, Matthew, Elizabeth and 190! Matthew was in heaven!

Time to go:(

Happy Fathers Day!

We are behind on posting so I am going to try to catch up, this one
is obviously Fathers Day. David had a good day, which started
with breakfast and a new shovel! We went to church and then ate lunch
with my Dad for Fathers Day and his B-day. I think they both had a good day!

Matthew did David a Happy Fathers Day train car just like he
did for me on Mothers Day. Love it:)

Mothers Day and Activities

Well, I had a nice Mothers Day with the kids and then lunch with my Mom.
Matthew made me a special train car for the day and lovely art work along
with Elizabeth's water color picture she did for me. I should have made a
pic of them to post. Hope all reading this also had a Happy Mothers Day!
Time went on and we had a chorus performance of Elizabeth's and her dance
recital. Matthew had no violin recital this Spring and that was fine, and un-
fortunately Elizabeth was sick and didn't make her piano recital, so we
actually missed out on two activities we are used to fitting in. The last pic is
Matthew with his cabbage plant he had been given to grow. It got pretty
big, glad my Dad has a garden we could plant it in!

Chorus night!

Dance Recital this was her ballet outfit!

This was her tap outfit!

Nice cabbage huh? We haven't eaten yet but we will this week:)

EASTER

Well I can't believe it has taken me so long to post these Easter pics.
The kids dyed eggs a couple of days before Easter, and I can see
a lack of interest starting on Matthews part, but Liz still enjoyed it:)
We did the usual as far as Sunday goes, we went to church and then ate
a delicious Easter lunch with my parents! Hope all of our friends and
family that read this had a nice day as well!!

Easter Bunny came!!!!

Even Abby got a little something!

David with the kids before we headed off to church!
